The Bach Handbook: 50 Pieces For The Developing Flautist

Books | Flute

Publisher: G. Schirmer
Format: Sheet Music | Instrumental Album
This book has been created by Robert Stallman especially for the intermediate-level flautist. At the same time, it should prove valuable to any and all flautists who realise how essential the study of Bach is to their daily practise. Johannes Brahms' famous dictum, 'Study Bach: there you will find everything,' still holds true for all musicians. Bach stretches us all, whatever our level of experience.

"The Bach Handbook" compiled and edited by Robert Stallman, is a welcome addition to study materials available to the intermediate level flutist. There are some selections technically accessible to even the early intermediate player, while all of them have enough musical depth to challenge more advanced players. It is a useful and musically stimulating collection for the developing flutist.
