        Stroud GB Music teacher.
My young pupils and I enjoy the layout, the folder and Chester the frog.
It covers the next stage from Set 1, clearly, and is easy to understand.
I find it difficult to open the folder because of the strong sticky label which sometimes damages it.

        Handy but pricey

I use this as a fun activity with younger pupils who enjoy the simple layout & text. Very simple level of theory covered, but it does reinforce what the child has learnt in the lesson and can be used with other teaching series as well as the Chester books. Very popular, especially with boys!

These puzzle books are excellent for new and young learners, clearly setting out music theory in manageable chunks. Each sheet allows progression and can be completed in a short time, giving a sense of achievement which motivates the student and helps them to understand the music they are learning to play. They are highly recommended.
