Really good tunes and accessible way to start to play with another person. Good way to get children to count and keep playing especially if they are sightreading the tunes!

A good fun way to add variety to Violin lessons (either one to one with the teacher playing one part, the student the other, or with each student taking a different line - doubling up if necessary). Simple but pleasant arrangements of traditional folk songs. Sometimes the arrangements lack some imagination and variety but they are generally fun to play.

Duets are great for developing a sense of rhythm and for helping along sight reading skills. This book is suitable for grade two standard players.
