Really good exercises but you need the basic techniques before embarking on them.

If you want interesting vocal exercises this is the book for you. From simple stepwise exercises on 'tay' through to more dramatic songlike exercises, this book engages the singer from the start. This book does not just go through the motions; many of the exercises have their own musical character allowing the singer to develop musicality as well as technical proficiency. The book is divided into sections including sections for practising melismas, head-tones and diction.
