        Musicroom Reviews

This is not a book for the absolute beginner, but it is without doubt the most useful and interesting manual I have ever read. Written by one of the most innovative acoustic guitar players and teachers of recent times. This book is a most for anyone who loves the acoustic guitar, and would like to take their playing to the next level.

I would reccomend this to all acoustic guitar players - it's a fantastic body of work and takes you through the techniques that you need to play confidently. The pieces are great to play and very varied - from blues to latin jazz, classical and contemporary. It can be challenging at times but the songs are so lovely that you really want to learn to play them well. The author, I hear, has sadly passed away - nice to know that he is still giving us lots of joy and is remembered through his music - I'll be playing the songs I have learned from this book for a lifetime - buy it, I promise that you won't be disappointed.
