Modest Mussorgsky: Pictures At An Exhibition (Piano Version)

Books | Piano

Publisher: G. Schirmer
Format: Sheet Music | Instrumental Album
Mussorgsky's well-loved Pictures At An Exhibition in it's original piano-suite form. The subjects of these character-pieces range from 'The Hut On Fowl's Legs' to the 'Ballet of the Chickens in their Shells'! Includes black-and-white pictures of the original drawings from Victor Hartmann's exhibition, which inspired the suite.
These pieces is graded 'intermediate-advanced' since several entire movements are well within the grasp of the Grade 7-8 pianist; however there are some extremely difficult moments and so a complete performance of the work would require a more advanced player - for precision, interpretation and sheer stamina as well!

I accidently spilled cold water on the open pages of this book, which did not dry out well.
Consequently, I purchased the same product again, so now I have two copies!
I shall have to be more careful in future.
