This book contains pieces for a mixture of abilities. There are some lovely melodies and you should be able to find what you need for repertoire between Grades 1 to 5.

Teacher be aware that there isn't any fingering. A pity for an interesting book for young students.

This book is great. I'd come across a few of these pieces before - actually I originally ordered it because I was so enjoying teaching Cavalryman for Grade 5 last year that I wanted a copy myself. I'm really loving some of the others too. Some are rather like studies, and although I like these I can't see them going down very well with children, but there's a lot of good stuff here, and being Kabalevsky, quirky and interesting to learn and listen to.

This is a favourite for all my pupils. It's pieces expanding their repertoire easily and with lots of fun pieces to play. It goes on and on, my copy is almost worn out after just a year.
