The variety of styles within the collection. Great fun to play, with lots of little challenges built in.
For me, the CD is superfluous. It's about developing the skill of working with the tempos. Plus I have a teacher to refer to. Maybe the Cd would work better if I didn't have my teacher.

Varied and challenging pieces, but all playable after some practice. Nice introduction to modern music styles.
Well, the only bad thing is that sometimes you wish a piece was longer, because you love playing it.

A nice book full of light pieces which are at easy-intermediate level. Rewarding light relief between grades.

This is ok but not as good as the Microjazz collection books. I am disappointed with the CD as the quality is not great and tempos are fast. Also the print is small for the music. There are some good pieces as always.

This book is excellent. I disagree with the rating of it being for beginners. I would recommend it for about grade 3 upwards. My students are having a great time with this book and it brings a smile to my face every time we play from it.
