Klezmer is the traditional instrumental music of the Jews of Eastern Europe. It's a music with universal appeal and a power to communicate. The arrangements in this collection can be performed as solos, duets, trios or by larger ensembles. Some of the pieces are compatible with the version for violin in The Klezmer Fiddler.
I chose a selection of these books for my children to have some fun experimental practice pieces and some sight reading between intermediate grades. They are a useful series for them to get a feel of a variety of styles of music, as they are not sure what they really like playing. Anonymous

Great music to play-well presented. Good to have the historical background included. Good value for money. Anonymous

A lovely book with a handy accompaniment part suitable for piano but one that my accordionist friend played from making a lovely duo! There is also "The Klezmer Fiddler" available with some tunes compatible with the clarinet edition. Good selection of upbeat fast dances and slower reflective melodies. Anonymous

This a good collection of fun pieces, not difficult to play so it makes a nice wind down at the end of a practice session. I would recommend it to anyone. Anonymous
