The quality of sound from this 6c mouthpiece is amazing. Others have noticed the rounder, fuller dynamics. I love playing it. I went from. Yamaha 5c to the 6c. Both are great but the 6c has the edge for me!

Bought this mouthpiece to go on a Jupiter 500 series Alto Saxophone, it gave a much nicer tone than the Jupiter 4C mouthpiece that came with the saxophone (which sounded similar too, but slightly worse, than the Yamaha 4C).

I bought a secondhand alto sax with which I was very pleased but as I progressed with the instrument I was unhappy with its strident sound, especially when I heard other people's playing sound so much warmer and rounded. My teacher suggested I change the mouthpiece and I bought the Yamaha 6C. I could not believe the difference - it brought about a complete transformation of sound quality. It is well worth every penny. I now really enjoy practicing and experimenting with my music.
