Forty years ago one of the world's best-loved rock'n'roll bands. The Faces, formed from the ashes of The Small Faces and the Jeff Beck Group, featuring a charismatic, raspy-voiced front man in Rod Stewart alongside Ron Wood, Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones. Fantastic book. Long overdue on a great, great band. Andy Neill is well-read and obviously did his homework on the Faces. I keep going back for another look.

Hooray! This book is everything I wanted it to be. Rod Stewart called it amazing and I agree it's a sterling book. A total must-have for fellow Faces and Rod Stewart fans. Finally, the book I've been waiting for on the band!!
