This book has lots of instantly recognisable tunes which are easy to play. I have only been playing for 10 months but was able to play many of these straight away. There are also a couple which are slightly more challenging which gives me something to work on. I like books with play-along c.d.'s as it makes the practice more enjoyable.
The index is not laid out in a logical way! The tunes seem to be categorised into classical, themes, celebrations and traditional. It would be more helpful if the tunes were alphabetised.
