        Structure good
The CD needs 'count ins' for ALL sections not just the pieces

For the price I would have expected MORE pieces and guidance even if it is Jamie Cullum

A '1 page' SAMPLE would be good before buying

A relatively basic book for new jazz learner - needs other books for further study

What a truely brilliant & inspiring book. If you love Jamie's music you'll love this. I've learned so much already, especially about improvisation, & I'm only half way through the pieces. The CD is invaluable with great backing tracks to play along with that enhance your performance. OK, so it's not for the absolute beginner, but even if you find the pieces a real challenge to pick up, it's worth it if you stick with it. I just hope Jamie does more books like this as it's brought a whole new dimension my repertoire.
