This looks to be very comprehensive and have a lot of information I'd like to get to grips with. It could be a good reference book once I've got used to using it.
It is difficult to engage everyone 'from novice to expert' in one book. I have found the first three chapters are stuff I already know (mostly covered in grade 5 theory), but that I'll really need to concentrate or I'll miss the bits I still need to learn.
