Good clear sheet music at an easy to read for beginner size.
Not so much a bad point: but is very thin on scales and arpeggio exercises... So you do need to get an accompanying book for that. But that's a lack, rather than a problem with the contents that are there.

The book is well laid out and very easy for novice players to follow. My daughter picked it up and within 10 minutes could play the 1st three lines of her first piece. She loves it that much she hasn't put it down again since!!

Great pieces covering many styles, but the best thing is having the technical Suite (Exercises) included in the book!

A good book with some great pieces. Some quite challenging for grade one like "Hall of the mountain king" due to the quantity of chromatic notes, but nevertheless enjoyable for the student. Habanera Era is also a challange due to the rhythms employed but it is great when mastered! Marrakech is one of my favourites.
