I'm just beginning to learn acoustic guitar. This book has given me a lot of enthusiasm to apply the chords I know, plus new ones to well known songs. Much better than many tutor books. A nice mix of songs from 60's to the present( 100! ), many easy for beginners but also many more advanced, so encouraging practice. Depends on tracks desired but this had the balance for me personally. Nicely presented with chords, melody and verse lyrics... can even use chords given to play on a keyboard with the melody so a bonus there( tried it and it works ). Nice PVC flexi cover and fits in gig bag pocket easily, A5 size I think.
The book is pretty flexible and binding seems fine, perhaps not as practical as spiral bound but it's not difficult to work with. Songs are roughly in alphabetic order but not quite and some cover 2-3 sides so allow for page turning( most aren't ). Chord diagrams can be small to read in low light but thats age/eye sight related and once memorised not needed. So all minor points compared to the absolute pleasure this book gives. Nothing worth down marking it for.

Fantastic song selection, with accurate chords. For my next gig, I will be using this book for at least a dozen songs - very handy, as usually I have to swap books all the time! Anonymous
