I'm a self-internet-book-learning cellist and the easy/intermediate book/CD are great. I also bought the intermediate bookCD but think it'll be a long while until I can use it. The quality of the recordings are very good & they are good to listen too on their own. Also each tune has a separate accompaniment track. The book has the scores for the piano & cello and there is a pull out book of just the cello parts which is a great idea.

A wonderful collection of transcriptions for cello and piano. The pieces are good, but the best about the book is that it comes with cd, with both full performance and accompaniment only. The cd sounds good, because of the good musicians who made it. I enjoy most to play along with the performance, but one day I hope to manage the playalong too.
