So visual; helps people (who struggle to read treble and bass) get going with scales and broken chords.
Slightly Pricey. Its not as if Mr Stocken invented scales.....

Have used all of this series. Very clear to understand with pictures of keys used in each scale showing patterns.

The whole series of these books are so easy to use. I have a 5 year old using grade 1 with very little teacher input. It takes the stress from learning scales as long as you are a visual learner! It gives me more lesson time to focus on playing pieces rather than teaching everything in one short lesson. Superb from all of us, parents, teachers and pupils

Really useful for teaching children with slight coordination problems or even dyslexia.

This series of books is wonderful for students who require pictorial notation. The keyboard is drawn out with finger numbers on each relevant key, making learning scales fun and easy. I would highly recommend this series of books.

What a breath of fresh air! I can say "at long last!" Scales are presented here as more than ascending ladders of beamed quavers. This series of books actually presents the concept of scales and the 'ideal' fingering pattern in a format that actually replicates the way many of us try to teach them with our own teaching adjuncts. It is a highly visual method, that positively enables the student to 'see' both the pattern of differnt types of scales as well as the pattern of fingers that are used. Excellent educational tool.
