Dedicated to the memory of Franz Liszt, Saint-Saens' Symphony No.3 'Organ' Op.78 in D minor is one of the most important works in French symphonic music. The piece was commissioned by the London Philharmonic, and first performed in 1886 in London. Saint-Saens would not produce another symphony after this masterpiece. This miniature score is ideal as a study edition and is available at a highly affordable price.
A good size miniature score, although the printing is not as deep and clear as it could be. It suits the purpose for following a performance and for general study. Excellent value for money, though. Anonymous
