Great book, really nice selection of songs from the films. Pieces are very playable for early intermediate player with some challenge. CD is excellent, really high quality full orchestral backing, and the cello examples are played beautifully (something to aspire to!)
It's a shame that the actual book is the piano score, and the cello part is the rubbish pullout but rather than the other way round. People buying this are going to be cello players, so the good print book should be the one for them. Some books like time pieces for cello are doing it this way now where the nice book is the cello part.

The cello part is meant to be easy, and for that reason stays in the lower register. This makes it difficult to get heard against the backing track. The music is not really easy to play for beginners though because of the keys it is in and difficult rhythms (and with this difficult bowings). An intermediate player who can play this would want the part to lie higher so that it stands out better.
I find the book pretty useless!

This is a great book from beginners up. It feels great to be able to play along to music that is quite moving in the film. There are some more acvanced so as your ability increases you can play different tunes. I really recomend this book.
