It was not clear to me from the catalogue entry (though I should have deduced from the price) that separate instrument parts were not provided. This made the edition virtually useless for me. Also the viola da gamba sonatas are given in tenor clef, which is difficult for a gamba player, though I have a feeling that Bach's editions were given in this key so suppose I can't complain too much. At least it isn't covered with distracting cello fingering!

Bargain price for a wonderful collection of pieces. Shame about the lack of a solo cello part and slight problems in reading the print, however a 'must have' collection for any cellist.
