In the hills of northwestern Georgia, Norman Blake carries on the tradition of old-time country music like a master craftsman preserving an endangered art form. He discovered his life's vocation when he was sixteen. Born in 1938 in Chattanooga, he was raised in Sulphur Springs, Georgia near Lookout Mountain.
He met Nancy Short in 1972 when the band she was playing in was booked as his opening act. They married two years later and have performed and recorded together ever since.
This DVD collection presents their unique musical blend from 1980 to 1995
