        Musicroom Reviews

Buying the complete keyboard player (3) books, for me was the best thing I done in ages, I've been searching high and low for this music book and saw a copy in my local music shop priced at £12:99 each. So, buying all 3 from musicroom, saved me over £14:00 now, that's what I call a baragin. Thank you

I am a complete novice at the keyboard, having received a keyboard for Christmas. I was also given a complete beginner's book by the same author, which recommended this book at the next stage. There are four tunes in the complete beginners book, which all show two rows of music: one for the chords, and one for the melody. I was, therefore, disappointed to find that this book only has one row of music for the melody and just shows the letter of the chord above to indicate which chord should be played. I am sure that it will still teach me to play but it's a shame that I won't be getting used to reading bass music notes, as well as the notes for the melody.

This is a really good book for beginners to keyboard playing. The three books together in this edition give a good collection of tunes in a wide range of styles that are easily accessible to anyone who has been playing for only a short time. If you're a complete beginner, this book probably isn't for you (leave it a few of months and then buy it), but if you only know the absolute basics, you can't get better than this omnibus. Some of the pieces will really push you, but it's worth it. Buy this if you're a beginner looking for some extra practice material.
