A great fun adaptation of the themes from th abach Double Violin Concerto. Works well in a concert. Students have really enjoyed playing it.
As a jazz violin player I made some further adaptations to bowing etc. to make it a bit more jazzy (as to my ears it's not quite enough!) but I know plenty of people who have played this and not done that.

This piece is incredibly fun for a double bass player, with a cheeky combination of jazz and classical. The melodies are all very memorable and it works really well as a light performance piece.
