London Experienced choir trainer
- A hauntingly lovely piece, with four 'verses' for soprano/treble voice or voices (they sound fine sung by a group), and each 'verse' followed by a basically homophonic chorus (SAATB or SSATB).
The score is clear and user-friendly, with a keyboard accompaniment that is open to elaboration in the style of the period.
Not difficult to learn, and a strong candidate for becoming a firm favourite with singers.
