Easy play pieces for the part-time organist, or someone just starting out. Well laid out.

        1. I'm a pianist who gets called upon to play the organ, so a book for manuals only is ideal

        2. It is Intermediate level. Although I have grade 8 and am studying for performance diploma, on important occasions (for other people) I do not want to be playing on the edge all the time. Intermediate is better for these occasions but the textures are rich enough that it doesn't sound like a beginners book.
A couple of more pieces I would have liked to see included. E.g. Jerusalem seems to be a popular wedding hymn.

        Musicroom Reviews

For that growing class of 'Reluctant Organists' - amateur pianists who are increasingly having to do duty on the organ at church services - this book is a godsend. It contains the most popular wedding pieces arranged for manual keyboard(s) only, which is what most Reluctant Organists are competent on, and indeed what may be all that is available in a non-church setting where there is only an electronic keyboard. Definitely recommended.

Just wanted to thank the Not-so-reluctant organist for their excellent review. It elicited a chuckle of recognition and gave me a very helpful tip-off.

A useful collection of music for weddings though some arrangements are better than others. Registration suggestions would have been helpful, as found in other similar publications.
