A fascinating document. The introduction forms an excellent complement to the illustrated talk given by Cooke on the BBC, of which I (fortunately ) have a tape. It was given (I think) about 1970, and if you could get hold of it and issue it as a companion CD to the score it would be well worthwhile. (I could lend you my copy.) Th score itself is clear and informative:it is throughout plain which parts have been added to complete the orchestration, and the whole thing makes a fascinating study.
