'Little Peppers' is the third book in a series of five. Each book is filled with fun jazz pieces that can be used both as pedagogical studies and as repertoire pieces. 'Little Peppers' is around Grade 3 standard and each of the pieces has been written with the young pianist in mind, avoiding leaps that are difficult for small hands and incorporating relatively short, lighthearted pieces. Technique is developed alongside musicality, helping young players to move towards grade exams and the other books in the series.

These pieces are beautifully composed 'jazz miniatures' with instant appeal to students whilst also being impressively educational. I regularly use the whole series as 'contemporary repertoire' books.

An excellent collection of fun jazzy pieces. They have inspired my pupils between grades, but also provided some challenging rhythms and time signatures so they are learning without realising it. Very fun and the 'Peas in a Pod' piece which has a different part in each book can be played together as a duet which is a great idea.

An excellent selection of pieces in a jazzy style. I gave it 4 stars because there are one or two not so good ones in the book (that's a personal opinion of course). Elissa Milne is a great contemporary composer for those who enjoy jazzy style pieces. Martha Mier is another one to look out for.
