Books | Piano

Publisher: Faber Music

This book is the second in a series of four books and follows on directly from Book One. It is a fantastic collection of new and original pieces for Solo Piano in a variety of styles to suit any mood. With a range from sentimental ballads, to cosy dinner jazz and wistful blues to cheerful, upbeat tunes, it truly provides the perfect antidote to stress. Suitable for players at Grade 4-6 standard, these lush harmonies and laid-back melodies are synonymous with the smoky, dimly lit but relaxed atmosphere of a Jazz club and are perfect for performance or simply to enjoy.

A good range of different pieces - must admit thought I was getting the Jazz book but still some nice pieces to try and play. Some I could sight read and some will need alot of practice.

Having greatly enjoyed After Hours for Solo Piano Book 1, I find the content of this book nowhere near as appealing.
