A little gem! No more band members complaining my arrangements are unreasonable...if they do in future its them not me!!

This book does everything it says it will; giving you almost all the instruments that a composer would normally write for, and their ranges. Being a music student at the moment, i found it helped me with understanding transposition more than i did; knowing what the difference betweein sounding pitch and written pitch is. If you need a book just as a reference for instrumentation and especially for finding the best instruments that go together, then this is for you, even to keep as an instrument reference on your shelf.
