It is a helpful course book giving information about how to achieve the technical requirements for Grade 6-8 sight reading. Then there are plenty of practice pieces.
The pieces are varied and each is, in itself, a complete musical idea.
It allows the student to plan a creative performance rather than just playing the notes and time correctly.
I was sorry they chose to use the Egyptian eye symbol for this whole series of books as it can have negative connotations. However
I know they mean they want the student to look carefully as it is a SIGHT reading book. It would be perfect if they changed the logo perhaps to two eyes.
