I like the fact that there is so much basic information in the book without having to go to other reference books. E.g key signature charts info on clefs. And other instrumental ranges etc.

This is my favourite series of theory books for younger pupils. Text is kept to a minimium and the exercises build up in difficulty at a very gentle pace. Only one grumble - a larger stave size in the answer sections would be more user-friendly.

Over 30 years of teaching, I have used several different theory work books series. This is by far the best! The layout is uncluttered, spacing of exercises is generous, all making each page clear to read and work at. It covers everything required for Theory Examinations, in a child-friendly approach.
