This book is in the same format as the first in the series, with lots of familiar animated friends and some new ones too. Book two builds upon what has previously been learned and tackles new topics such as ledger lines and Italian terms, triplets and note groupings. Each topic has a number of exercises to consolidate what has been taught and puzzles and games are interspersed throughout to aid memory. Every fourth chapter is a revision session to ensure that information has been absorbed.

Makes theory more interesting with the addition of fun puzzles and lots of repeatition
Lots and lots of repeatition of puzzles but perhaps not enough repeatition of actual ABRSM worded excercises

presented in a fun way - better for young children than other theory grade books, but seems to cover everything they need.

Lina Ng has provided us with an easy-access range of Theory workbooks. Covering every requirement of the ABRSM exams, these books I think are the easiest for pupils to read and understand. The work is so well-spaced, and totally uncluttered. A most helpful aid to the teaching of theory.

Very good book. Must say 'Theory of Music Made Easy' is my favorite theory series. Theory is explained very well and book is appealing to pupils. Great for introducing theory in individual teaching.

As usual with this collection, this is the best way for children to learn their music theory. Clear explanations, nice lay-out, good range of exercises. Perfect. Only thing, my daughter wishes it was longer as she loves it so much.....

I tried a number of theory books which follow the ABRSM syllabus and this series is absolutely the best. Now the majority of the music teachers in The Bahamas are using them both in a school setting and for individual instruction. Good explanations (not too wordy), plenty of exercises and great illustrations for the kids!

This is a very user friendly series of theory books which the kids enjoy doing.
