Skipton Singer and continuo player
- If anyone doesn't know this work, it's one of Haydn's most charming early settings of the mass. It requires 4 soloists but the parts are not difficult and could be taken by members of a good amateur choir. The orchestration is modest (2 oboes, strings and continuo) or it works reasonably well just with organ accompaniment.
- Sopranos need to be warned that there are a couple of top Bs!
