I've been using this book for many years and can recommend it as a supplement for beginners aged 7-10, especially those who take more time to grasp the basics! Special favourites are Martians' March & Secret Garden. It contains some well-known tunes like Scarborough Fair & Polly Wolly Doodle, & has a fun element which keeps the children's interest.

An excellent book as a follow on from piano time one, or for better pupils I use it to follow tunes for ten fingers book 2.

Contains musical pieces from the outset that gradually build technical skillls of the pupil whilst holding interest with their variety. I have three pupils working with this book now and all are enjoying it and progressing well.

I like this book, its a good one to move onto after beginner books. The first few pieces are hands together at middle C, then the pieces get more difficult and the hands move position.

A musical friend's daughter was playing "The Secret Garden" when we visited them and we loved it so much that I bought two copies!

Excellent! I have used this series for years and would highly recommend it. The pieces are fun and easy for the youngest child to learn. The new editions are the best yet and make teaching a huge pleasure!

I bought this for a student who has just finished Piano Time 1 and wanted some other pieces to play before starting Piano Time 2. Excellent little pieces and studies.
