Lots of well known and some less well known songs, well edited and presented.
I find the mixture of madrigals and 20th century songs a bit odd. And it's an expensive book, when so much of the music (madrigals) is freely available elsewhere.

This book is a wonderful collection of the finest madrigals and partsongs from around the world. Lots and lots of material here for small quartets right up to large choirs. There are some excellent and hard to find partsongs in here that are perfect for my small octet, and skill level varies enormously, from very easy 4 part to modern 8 part in the Vaughan Williams. Truly something for everyone, a valuable book.
