Nominated for a whopping 10 Tony Awards and grossing more than $1 million each week, Wicked was the Broadway smash of 2003! A Prequel to the all-American classic The Wizard Of Oz, Wicked is a glorious musical character study of Elphaba and Glinda, school room-mates who grow up to become the Wicked Witch and the Good Witch respectively.
This terrific book features a special section of colour photos from the production and a note from composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz.
This Vocal Selections edition features thirteen songs all transcribed for Vocal Line with Piano accompaniment and chord symbols.
BOUGHT THIS AS SOON AS IT WAS AVAILABLE. LOVED THE WEST END SHOW AND PUPILS WERE EAGER TO SING THE SONGS.

Its a very difficult musical to play! And some of the chords are wrong. e.g the guitar chord is not the same as the piano chord!!
But includes a lot of the popular songs, however a couple of songs (e.g. Defying Gravity) are missing dialogue and have added sections to make it work as a solo. Anonymous

I already had the book with the vocal line as part of the piano part. However, this book is DEFINATELY the one for accompanying a singer.
