May be used as a companion to Book III, ABRSM Aural Training in Practice and is useful for those preparing for the Aural requirement of Grades 7 & 8 practical exams.
Whilst the academic rigour of this book is a welcome and essential element, it may prove a little challenging for some students.

This was recommended to me to help with the ABRSM G7 and 8 aural tests. I'm only a third of the way through but I'm finding it really interesting and helpful. It might be a tough read for children unless they are really keen - not so much because it is difficult to read but there is a lot to take in and it is perhaps best used in combination with listening to some (mainly piano) music.

Heavy going and intense! Useful for advanced musicians or those studying music at college.
