Domenico Scarlatti is best known for his vast output of 555 harpsichord sonatas, many of which have been edited and published by the Associated Board. The nine sonatas in this collection for have been carefully edited by Howard Ferguson and published as part of the Easier Piano Pieces series and these have been edited for performance on the piano and include dynamics and marks of articulation.
This was a good edition of selected Scarlatti sonatas and the editorial by Howard Ferguson seems quite good. Helpfully, he puts metronome speeds at the end of each piece. Anonymous
