          Musicroom Reviews

Well I really don't know what to say. I was hoping that Roger Kain of BIM was going to give me something really useful and up-to-date to use with my students but as it stands it's completely useless and to me brings the whole voice teaching of BIM into question. As someone who has/is studying modern voice science this book is so full of untruths and confused outdated misinformation that I can only review it as harmful to the voices of anyone who undertakes these exercises without knowledgeable supervision. I would suggest that Roger does some thorough research into the work of Jo Estill and her colleagues who have taken on and developed her work. I initially wrote a much more in depth review detailing many points but I only have 200 words. So I'm sorry to offer such a horrible review but I can only describe this book as dangerous.
