The arrangement of this work is actually very readable, and is mostly accurate to the original orchestral score, within the limitations of two hands and two feet! The pageturns are nicely placed so they are actually possible and allow the flow of music to continue. It's sits extremely well under the fingers albeit the antipenultimate bar of the work, which can still be mastered with practice.
A fantastic piece of music, even as a Recessional, which is very enjoyable to play and allows for many different interpretations.

A much better edition, although challenging in parts, than the Hesford version which missed so much detail out. A fine postlude or recital lollipop, ideally needing a good solo reed, and works well as filling in for the orchestral version as well. Big on melody and tonic dominant harmony, and readily appealing to an audience.
