is outlined by soloists yet the ensemble articulates deeper levels in the musical material.
The composer wanted to focus very much on the musical Style of the piece and there are elements of puristic, serial music on display as well as minimalistic approaches recognizable.
Lindberg sums up the piece by describing it as a kaleidoscopic writing based on a maximal variety brought out from limited musical material. Work for Solo Clarinet and Cello with Chamber Ensemble.
