Ezra Laderman (1924-2015) was an American composer, who was for many years also Dean and Professor at the Yale School of Music. He wrote for many mediums, from solo instrumental and vocal works to large-scale choral and orchestral music as well as film and opera. His music, although rigorously conceived, speaks with immediacy and accessibility.
