Maurice Jacobson (1896-1976) was a British composer, pianist and adjudicator. He studied composition with Charles Villiers Stanford and Gustav Holst at the Royal College of Music, before joining J. Curwen and Sons - a music publishing form that he remained with for almost fifty years, eventually becoming director and chairman.
