I think that it is great book for people, especially in arizona with the solo+ensemble festival coming up. Coconino high school got an excellent rating at the A.B.O.D.A. festival. And with me and my friend we love to play classical music because we're both violinists and violaists.

This book is a collection of a few widely known tunes and some more obscure ones, strictly classical. There are no bowings, no fingerings, and the tunes are often arranged in keys that do not suit the violin (eg E flat). There is plenty of third position work on the E string. Some of the tunes are inaccurately written. It is not suitable for beginners, and there is no sign that the tunes have been arranged for the violin at all. Anonymous
