I play the piano with two viola players and both of them like these pieces. The opening piece (from a horn sonata?) is a joy to play although pianists might frown at Beethoven's poly rhythms - effective though they are. The Corelli pieces are also a joy to play, although the form of the Gavotta makes me wonder if this is a variation of the original known (I believe) as a "double". Tartini's Andante is actually a Sarabande and although rather unexpected, the flowing piano accompaniment is very effective. I thoroughly recommend these pieces. One minor irritation. The piano part is small and it will take some time before the pages stay in place when the pianist turns over. There must be a simple answer to this problem which I would like to know.
