The compelling tango-rythm not only tickles legs but also the fingers. Manfred Schmitz proves it with "Mini-Tango" in all 34 pieces. From the first "Tango charlatán" to the closing "Adios Tango" South-American air breathes through the songs, also printed in Spanish. Ten Tangos are composed for four-handed piano, whereat both parts are at the same level of difficulty. Overall the level of difficulty ranges from very easy to moderate. With practical pencil

Generous number of graded tangos from pre-grade 1 to grade 4/5 (ABRSM). Much enjoyed by my pupils.
Perhaps more a book for a teacher than a pupil as, inevitably, the pieces are limited in style.

Excellent selection of tangos, imaginative, full of spirit, great pieces of music. Varying degree of difficulty.
Pieces are very similar in style, so great for the teacher's use, but probably too repetitive for any one pupil.

Great fun pieces for learners, young and old. A surprising amount of music in one album so good value for money.

I bought this book for the Grade 3 alternative ABRSM piece in it, but it's a great little book overall - lots of fun tunes, with exciting rhythms for children (and adults) to enjoy. Uncluttered layout.

A great piece that can be used as an alternative in the ABRSM Grade 2 syllabus. I also teach this to adult learners. Catchy, not too difficult and fun to play!

This is an excellent book for the Grade 2 piano player. The pieces are so enjoyable to play and I only wish I had got to know about 'Mini Tango' sooner.
