      Musicroom Reviews

A well written guide to some of the most interesting and influential court cases in music history, starting with the story of Liberace and his battle with The Mirror, through to Shawn Fanning's Napster taking on the whole industry. The chapters are well written, balancing the straight facts with opinion and quotes. All of the cases are relevant to the modern music industry, and all kinds of issues are dealt with, showing how opinions change so quickly through the 20th and 21st centuries. I may now move on to Brian's book on Northern Songs and the story of the Beatles. A worthy read.
