John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course: Part Three (Book And CD)

Books and CDs | Piano

Publisher: Willis Music
Format: Books | Instrumental Tutor
Now available as a book and CD edition.

A revised edition of the best-selling Piano course by John Thompson. Part three of this easy and fun approach to learning the Piano begins by showing the importance of playing and listening to music phrase by phrase rather than note by note. Examples of touch follow in proper sequence.

Each book of the course contains its own writing exercises, sightreading drills, review work and later, technical studies. Accompaniments for teacher or parent are supplied with most of the examples.

The accompanying CD is a wonderful tool for enhancing this method with highly acclaimed midi-orchestrated backing tracks. Practice becomes so much fun!

Each track is split to enable the pupil to hear both Piano part and accompaniment if the balance is centred, the accompaniment without Piano if the balance is to the left, and the Piano part alone if the balance is all the way to the right.
There are also two tempos for each song, allowing slower practice while it's needed - an ideal accompaniment for learning!

really easy step by step with big images so it's esier to learn how to read music as well as play it.
too easy. think that book one and two should be only one bigger book.
