The pupils love the various styles of the pieces and the backing tracks are very intricate
Some pieces are too long and so much of the book is written in 'flats', more key variation would improve sight reading skills

My daughter is very pleased with this. It comes with a CD which has the track to listen to and the track to play along with. Only problem was the delivery. The goods didn't come until 26th September; 12 days for 1st class post. Its not music rooms fault but ROYAL MAIL and their wildcat strikes. Maybe music room should consider using a different delivery company.

I really liked this book, it is a mixture of the best music and they all sound good. They are quite difficult to get the hang of but once you do they sound really good. I would say though that playing a really high note for a long time doesn't sound that good for most people.

I love this! Ordered it yesterday and came this morning (Yay!), so delivery is good as always, and the pieces are perfect in difficulty. I'm working on my grade 8 at the moment, and the pieces 'Fireworks' and 'Nimbus 3000' are fast and fun to play.
